Happy Tuesday, friends. Welcome to this week’s edition of TWIC. We love being your personal tour guide to what’s happening this week around town and other things that we’ve got our eyes on.

🎸 Blue Jay Sessions: After a little summer break, the Blue Jay Sessions are happy to announce its return to The Prairie Emporium with music, food, and drinks on Oct 19.

🎼 Led Zeppelin: Houses of the Holy: Known for recreating the best of classic rock, Classic Albums Live is a fan-favourite series from Arts Commons Presents. The 23/24 season opens with Houses of the Holy on Oct 20.

👚 The semi-annual used clothing, toys, books, and equipment sale: The Twins, Triplets, and More Association of Calgary is hosting its fall sale on Oct 21 at 10am.

🎵The Doobie Brothers: The classic rock band has extended its 50th Anniversary Tour and will be making a stop at Scotiabank Saddledome on Oct 25.

🍔 Brick Burger: Combining the world of LEGO and gourmet burgers, this innovative restaurant is coming to Calgary for two days! Visit the pop-up restaurant on Bowness Road NW, on Dec 9 and 10.

Pumpkins After Dark | Until Oct. 31 | 5-7pm

Explore the magical pathway of lit pumpkin sculptures and displays, with music, sounds and special effects with over 10,000+ hand-carved pumpkins, this one-of-a-kind walk-through experience is the must-see event of the fall season. [$16 and up]

Calgary Pop-Up Care Village | Wednesday |10am-4pm

A community festival for anyone experiencing difficulties such as poverty, food insecurity, and housing challenges. [Free]

Startup Canada Tour | Thursday | 8:30am

Connect with the Canadian entrepreneurship ecosystem at the BME Centre to build out your network, learn from industry experts, and apply that knowledge back into your early-stage business. [Various]

Canela High Tea | Thursday | 5-7pm
