Dear readers, and just like that, its officially Halloween night, the start of November, and the fall back time change all within the next few days. Scroll down and see what the city has in store for you this week.

🎄 Millarville Christmas Market: Enjoy eight fabulous days of food trucks, music, photos with Santa, face painting and so many favourite seasonal vendors as well as many new vendors. Capture the magic of Christmas this November. Nov 7-10 and 14-17 in Millarville.

💰️ The Price is Right Live Stage Show: Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the show, this is your chance to be a part of the action and win incredible prizes. Alongside a celebrity host, randomly-selected contestants play games like Plinko, Cliffhangers, The Big Wheel, and even the Showcase. Nov 9 at Grey Eagle Resort and Casino.

🎸 Girls Just Wanna Have Fun: The girls are all here; the Andrews Sisters in the ’40s, the Spice Girls, The Supremes, The Pointer Sisters and more, Stage West’s latest puts the spotlight on the women who changed music. Nov 15 to Feb 2 at Stage West.

🎅 The Andy Kim Christmas: The legendary Andy Kim leads a star-studded lineup of Canadian musicians in support of NMC's charitable initiatives, with all proceeds benefiting music and education programs. Dec. 13 at the National Music Centre.

✝️ Eleven Days of Remembrance at Calgary’s Field of Crosses: From Nov 1 to 10, visit the memorial and participate in daily sunrise and sunset ceremonies and a special Night of Lights tribute ceremony on the evening of Nov 10 and a Remembrance Day service on Nov 11. The Field of Crosses is open to the public 24/7 during that time.

Pumpkins After Dark | Wednesday and Thursday | 6:30-9pm time slots available

It’s the last two days to enjoy Canada’s award-winning outdoor Halloween event featuring more than 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins. This one-of-a-kind walk-through experience is the must-see event of the fall season. [Various prices]

Join the Riverbend Community Association for a festive day filled with local shopping, where attendees can discover unique handcrafted treasures from talented vendors while supporting local small businesses. [Free]

The first Flames home game of the weekend brings the New Jersey Devils to the city as the Flames try to get their winning record back on track. [Various prices]

Taste of Cochrane | Saturday | 11am-4pm

Embark on a self guided tour through the tastes of Cochrane and step into the participating restaurants to sample something special from their menu. [$22]

Fall Line Dance Party | Saturday | 7pm

Celebrate the fall season at Marlborough Park Community Association with their annual Fall Line Dance Party, featuring Calgary's DJ Rob Peters while enjoying a night of line dancing, door prizes, fun dance lessons, tasty late-night treats. [Free]

The second home Flames game of the weekend sees the hometown heroes host their Northern rivals for what always becomes an intense battle between the Alberta teams. [Various prices]

Tommy Tiernan Live | Monday | 7pm

MacEwan Hall is hosting this trip through the comic imagination of one of the best comedians in the world. This is a wild, uninhibited and fiercely physical display of standup. A madcap parade of characters, memories and ridiculous flights of fancy. [$53]

One of only three home games for the WHL’s Calgary Hitmen this month. Gather the family and head down to the Dome for some family-friendly and affordable hockey action. [Various prices]

The Appleton Estate Masterclass with David Morrison will explore the craft behind the Appleton Estate Brand and the stories of the iconic Hearts Collection limited release together with Appleton Estate 8-Year-Old Double Cask. The experience includes a guided tasting of the limited releases.

Ricardo’s Nightmare Before Christmas will thrill and chill Calgary’s ghosts and ghouls with 10 days of bloodcurdling decor, spine-chilling cocktails, hair-raising music and more, featuring ghoulish cocktails such as the Poison Apple Punch and Smoking Cauldron.

Train of Terror | Until Nov 3 | Aspen Crossing

Experience haunted railway cars, disturbing entertainment, and fear on the Train of Terror. If you make it through the fright cars alive, you will find areas to calm your nerves with food and drinks for purchase.

Death Trap | Until Nov 10 | Stage West dinner theatre

Sidney Bruhl is a successful writer of Broadway mystery plays but is struggling to live up to his own reputation. A possible break in his fortunes occurs when he receives a script from a student and he hatches a sinister plan. What Sidney doesn’t know, is his student has some surprise plot points of his own up his sleeve.
