⛸️ Oval After Dark: Enjoy an evening of an immersive experience at the Olympic Oval as it turns into an atmosphere of catacombs and a maze of horror, thrills, and chills. Oct. 30 at the Olympic Oval.

🎨 Festival of Crafts: Calgary’s premiere holiday handmade market founded in 1986 celebrates the rich tradition of Canadian craftsmanship by bringing together over 130 talented artisans from across the country. Oct 31-Nov 3 at the BMO Centre.

💰️ The Price is Right Live Stage Show: Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the show, this is your chance to be a part of the action and win incredible prizes. Alongside a celebrity host, randomly-selected contestants play games like Plinko, Cliffhangers, The Big Wheel, and even the Showcase. Nov 9 at Grey Eagle Resort and Casino.

Sunday | Telus Convention Centre | 10am-5pm

The Bridal Expo is Alberta's largest of its kind, featuring more than 100 interactive exhibits, a gigantic gown sale, glamorous fashion shows, a champagne lounge, and Calgary's finest wedding vendors.

Halloween Movie Fundraiser | Wednesday | 6-10:30pm

The Globe Cinema is showing a special screening of the iconic horror film The Shining, featuring a raffle and silent auction to support The New Gallery where attendees can participate in the “One Duvall to rule them all” costume contest honouring Shelley Duvall, with prizes for creative interpretations. The hilariously entertaining comedians Jim Jefferies and Jimmy Carr make their way to the Scotiabank Saddledome for an evening of laughs based on real life experiences, objective observations, and charming wit. [Starting at $51]

Enjoy a not-so-scary Halloween night at Crock A Doodle, where kids 5+ can create their own “Monster” plates or mugs, enjoy pizza, watch cartoons, and take part in a costume contest, all while painting pottery masterpieces and indulging in sweet treats. [$30]

Women in Music | Sunday | 2:30pm

Experience a dynamic concert at Arts Commons to celebrate women's contributions to music, featuring classical masterpieces and contemporary works performed on a variety of instruments, from organ to accordion, in an inspiring afternoon. [$25-$36]

Celebrate the second annual Halloween Howl at Congress Coffee featuring monster rock band Forbidden Dimension, with pumpkin carving, crafts, and kid-friendly cartoons, followed by an all-ages live show in a cozy café that captures the heart of the 1990s scene. [$5-$10]

Dash of Doom Run | Saturday | 2pm

Run Calgary invites Calgarians to be a part of Calgary's only Halloween night race, and Run Calgary's only pet-friendly race. Enjoy Halloween activities, a family dance party, face painting, and more.

Canyon Meadows Community Association presents "Spill the Beans," a workshop by Green Calgary designed to help residents save money and reduce food waste with tips on food storage and reinventing leftovers while attendees enjoy refreshments and stimulating conversation. [Free]

Nightmare Before Christmas Pop-Up | Until Nov 3 | Ricardo’s Hideaway

Ricardo’s Nightmare Before Christmas will thrill and chill Calgary’s ghosts and ghouls with 10 days of bloodcurdling decor, spine-chilling cocktails, hair-raising music and more, featuring ghoulish cocktails such as the Poison Apple Punch and Smoking Cauldron.

Train of Terror | Until Nov 3 | Aspen Crossing

Experience haunted railway cars, disturbing entertainment, and fear on the Train of Terror. If you make it through the fright cars alive, you will find areas to calm your nerves with food and drinks for purchase.

Death Trap | Until Nov 10 | Stage West dinner theatre

Sidney Bruhl is a successful writer of Broadway mystery plays but is struggling to live up to his own reputation. A possible break in his fortunes occurs when he receives a script from a student and he hatches a sinister plan. What Sidney doesn’t know, is his student has some surprise plot points of his own up his sleeve.

Fly through a technicolour nebula, kick up dust on the moon, and witness Saturn’s rings up close in this out-of-this-world immersive experience. Explore the galaxy through the James Webb telescope with this unique space exploration encounter.

From Me to You: The Beatles in Canada 1964-1966 | Until Jan 5 | National Music Centre

A nostalgic tribute to the band's transformative years upon arriving in Canada for the first time, this display captures the cultural landscape of Canada in the 1960s, and the frenzied excitement of Beatlemania that swept across the country.
