📚️ Wordfest Presents Imaginarium: Savour your favourite returning authors. Sample breakout stars. Devour the intimate, inspired pairings. Relish the variety and talk shows, storytelling and poetry events, and the return of Literary Death Match. Oct 16-21 at various locations.

🍂 42nd Annual Fall Harvest Market: Kick off the holiday season with the 42nd annual Fall Harvest Market featuring unique vendor items that make perfect Christmas gifts and get a head start on your holiday shopping. Oct 18-20 at the Bearspaw Lifestyle Centre. 

🎨 Festival of Crafts: Calgary’s premier holiday handmade market founded in 1986 celebrates the rich tradition of Canadian craftsmanship by bringing together over 130 talented artisans from across the country. Oct 31-Nov 3 at the BMO Centre.

Oktoberfest at Spruce Meadows | Wednesday-Sunday | Various times

The Oktoberfest Tournament welcomes horses and riders to the Spruce Meadows Equi-Plex. No tickets are required for this tournament.

Join the Canadian Brewhouse and YYC Plant Delivery for an evening of creativity using preserved moss to create a unique picture frame in this workshop designed for ages 13 and up. [$66]

The Room Sculpture Experience | Thursday-Monday | 7:30pm

Death Trap | Until Nov 10 | Stage West dinner theatre

Sidney Bruhl is a successful writer of Broadway mystery plays but is struggling to live up to his own reputation. A possible break in his fortunes occurs when he receives a script from a student and he hatches a sinister plan. What Sidney doesn’t know, is his student has some surprise plot points of his own up his sleeve.

Fly through a technicolour nebula, kick up dust on the moon, and witness Saturn’s rings up close in this out-of-this-world immersive experience. Explore the galaxy through the James Webb telescope with this unique space exploration encounter.
