🎭️ Vertigo Theatre: Midsummer Night's Dream: This rendition of a Shakespeare classic is filled with mischievous fairies, bumbling actors, and star-crossed lovers, in a play that weaves together love, mistaken identities, and hilarious misunderstandings. Starts May 17 at Vertigo Theatre.
🚃 Heritage Park Opening: Making history this year, Heritage Park is opening before Victoria Day long weekend and invites the public to enjoy an extra day of fun and excitement at the park with an opening ceremony for the Historical Village being held at 11:30am. May 17 at Heritage Park.
🍸️ YYC Caesarfest: The home of the Caesar presents the most Canadian long weekend plan ever filled with caesars, craft beer, cider, spirits, food, and a ton of fun. May 18 and 19 at the Big Four Building.

💮 Lilac Festival: This free one-day event is the kick start to Calgary's vibrant festival season. Citizens can shake off their winter blues and enjoy more than 500 vendors with local artisans, food, music, and more. June 2 in the heart of Mission.
Just announced
🎭️ Come From Away: This popular Broadway Across Canada show about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world is making its much-anticipated return to Calgary. Tickets go on sale on May 13 for the Sept 17-22 production at the Jubilee.

Bid a heartfelt farewell to Eau Claire Market with live music, food, and dynamic buskers. Don’t forget to take a stroll through the market’s vendors for one last time.
Friday | 5-10pm | Inglewood
This night market takes place in the heart of Inglewood and features 135 curated local artisans and makers with live music and a beer garden. Children and dogs are welcome. The best part is, it’s free to attend.

Book lovers assemble! With more than 100,000 books, the Calgary Book Sale is the place to be this weekend as one of the largest book sales in Western Canada.
