🎪 Paranormal Circus: Get ready for the most spine-tingling night out at this electric event coming to the city for the first time. May 30-June 9 at Winsport.

🦪 Oysterfest: Rodney's Oyster House is back at it again with their 6th Annual Oyster Festival, with proceeds going towards The Mustard Seed. June 23 at Rodney’s Oyster House.

🎤 DJ Pauly D: National Saloon announced that Pauly D of Jersey Shore fame will hit the stage to entertain guests for the Calgary Stampede. July 4 at National Saloon.

Wednesday | 8pm | Jubilee Auditorium

The local legend, Jann Arden, comes to the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for one night to serenade and dazzle Calgarians with her familiar voice in a show that is expected to sell out. [Starting at $127]

Friday-June 2 | Various times | CrossIron Mills

From acrobatics, death-defying acts, and motorcycle shows, the Royal Canadian International Circus is bringing its tour to Calgary and everyone loves a circus.

Hosted by YYC Beeswax, this unique workshop teaches participants how to create mini candles using beeswax while sipping on tea, having light snacks and learning about bee culture. [$86]

With camping season around the corner, Breathe Outdoors is eager to present three local experts to discuss all things camping-related and answer audience questions in a space geared toward the outdoors. [Free registration]

Calgary Black Film Festival | Friday-Tuesday | Various times 

Whether catching a film in person or online, the 2024 Black Film Fest highlights unique voices within cinema while creating a safe space to discuss major cultural and socio-economic issues. [Starting at $12]

Charcuterie Board Workshop | Saturday | 9-11:30am 

This workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn how to mix and apply resin to pieces of bamboo to create quality, personalized, ocean-themed charcuterie boards and learn about this unique art form that’s become quite popular. [$98]

HREF Reptile Expo | Saturday | 10am-4pm

Taking place at the Genesis Centre, the Reptile Expo hosted by Herptile Rescue and Education Foundation aims to promote the welfare and conservation of reptiles and amphibians through education, research and community outreach and involvement and is solely volunteer-run. [Starting at $14]

Granary Road Spring Fair Days  | Saturday-Sunday | Various times 

Granary Roads invites Calgarians to enjoy a two-day spring fair featuring kite making and flying for children at $10, a macrame workshop for adults for $30, and a free floral workshop on Sunday. Secure your spot by registering online. [Starting at $10]

Calgary Serbian Fest | Saturday-Sunday | 11am-5pm 

The Serbian Orthodox Church is hosting a public festival to celebrate and share Serbian culture, cuisine, and entertainment with Calgarians at this family-friendly event. [$5]

Celebrating 60 years of running this year, the annual Calgary Marathon offers a variety of distances for participants to adventure through ranging from 1.2km up to 60km with all the funds raised going to local charities. [Starting at $20]

Through beautiful images and awe-inspiring moments, Arts Commons Presents National Geographic Live series takes you on a journey with their first Indigenous speaker, Kiliii Yüyan, to understand the native people and their relationship to a frigid land and its animals. [Starting at $40]

Presented by Wordfest and taking place both online and in-person, LitCon returns to the Calgary Public Library and is designed for kids ages 4-14 to inspire creativity, foster social connections and practice skill development. [Free]

Moment Factory's Mirror Mirror | Until May 26 | CF Chinook Centre

It‘s the last week of this popular installation so make sure you step into an immersive world that blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination with nine art installations.

Journey to the ’80s | Until June 1 | Jubilations

The Billboard charts of the 1980s featured the biggest variety of music styles and genres since the birth of rock and roll. Madonna, Tina Turner, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Journey and more.

Violins of Hope: Socalled with Strings | Until June 16 | Studio Bell

This exhibition runs at the National Music Centre’s Studio Bell and showcases a collection of historic string instruments from before and during the Holocaust. Featuring Montreal-based musician Socalled on May 26 with heart-wrenching Yiddish arrangements of art songs, folk songs, and klezmer music, featuring Socalled on vocals, piano, and accordion.

Beautiful: The Carole King Story | Until June 23 | Stage West

The inspiringly beautiful true story of Carole King’s journey from teenage songwriter to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Polar Bear Breakfast | Until August 25 | Calgary Zoo

Bring your family and friends down for a fun and educational morning at the zoo with this exclusive before-hours viewing opportunity of the Wild Canada zone with a side of polar bear facts.
