🎶 Rock the Nation: Studio Bell is bringing its popular event featuring electrifying performances of beloved hit Canadian songs with over 60 years of Canadian music from Jan 27 to April 28.

🎨 Mirror Mirror by Moment Factory: Coming to CF Chinook Centre starting Feb 2, this new indoor experience combines scenography, light, words, original music, and interactivity to create a surreal and sensory playground of immersive art.

🚴 Nitrocross: Tickets are now on sale for this event with fast cars and thrilling tracks returning to Stampede Park for two days of heart-pumping action on Feb 2 and 3.

🏀 The Calgary Surge 2024 season opener: The city’s professional basketball team will play their season opener at the Scotiabank Saddledome in May 2024 and fans can sign up for priority access to updates and tickets.

🧑‍🎤 Randy Bachman: Legendary Canadian rocker Randy Bachman is returning to the National Music Centre theatre at Studio Bell on Feb 9, this time with his band.

🎭 Hairspray: Tickets are now on sale for the popular Broadway musical Hairspray coming to Calgary for a week on March 14 at the Jubilee.

🦁 The Lion King: Broadway Across Canada is thrilled to announce that Disney’s The Lion King will make its Calgary return during the 2024-2025 Broadway season.

Watch as Stage West recreates music history from The Beatles and The Bee Gees to the New Kids on the Block, *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys.

Outdoor Ice Skating | All winter | Olympic Plaza

The plaza was built in 1988 for the Olympic Winter Games and has one of the few refrigerated outdoor ice surfaces in the city where families can enjoy some skating 6am to 11pm.

Hygge Hut on River Walk | Until March | East Village

The Hygge Hut is a big warm East Village hug in the middle of a long, cold Calgary winter. The contemporary, Scandinavian-style space is inspired by the Danish idea of Hygge, which means a special kind of well-being. It’s a cozy, easy togetherness enhanced by the glow of a firepit, soft lighting, a warm drink and good company.
