🎙️ National Music Centre “Pass the Mic” Black History Month: On Feb 27, multiple generations of Black Canadian artists are coming to the stage curated and hosted by Master T, including Liberty Silver, Calgary's poet laureate Wakefield Brewster, and Canadian-Nigerian singer-producer Nonso Amadi.

📷 Worthy Woman Photography Exhibition: On March 9, this music, food, art, and photo exhibit celebrates 35 Calgary women and their personal stories featuring captivating portraits and emotionally engaging stories of women who share their perspectives.

🎭 Beautiful Man: Tickets are now on sale for this Alberta Premiere theatre production playing Feb 29 to March 10 at Motel Theatre in Arts Commons, co-presented by Downstage, Handsome Alice and Verb Theatre.

🍷 Winefest 2024: The largest wine festival in Alberta is less than one month away from welcoming Calgarians to explore the world of wine on March 1 and 2 at the BMO Centre - Stampede Park.

🎭 Hairspray: Tickets are now on sale for the popular Broadway musical Hairspray coming to Calgary for a week on March 14 at the Jubilee.

📽️ The 21st Calgary Underground Film Festival: Taking place April 18-28, this massive 11-day festival is set to bring a variety of filmmakers to the city while highlighting a slate of edgy and thought-provoking films.

Powered by ATB and the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Block Heater 2024 returns to reignite your soul this winter with its ninth edition bringing a stellar array of artists to multiple inner-city venues.

Thursday to Saturday | 5-10 / 4-10 / 11-4 | Municipal Hall Atrium

An opportunity for local creative entrepreneurs, artists, and makers to sell and showcase their work. Visitors can expect amazing tunes spun by local DJs, art installations, a "broken / heart" photo-booth, make-up/break-up lounge, card creation station and 50+ vendors offering some of the most unique, locally made goods for that special (or not so special) someone.

The National Music Centre is hosting a free family fun event and The Buckleys concert on Feb 19 in honour of Family Day.

Enjoy a home game between the Calgary Wranglers and the Manitoba Moose at the Saddledome. [$39+

Galentine's Paint Night | Wednesday | 6-8pm

With art instructors, music, and an opportunity to meet your new BFF, get into the Galentine's spirit with this paint night in a welcoming Western atmosphere at Ranchman’s. [$39

In this Vision Board Workshop, Instructor Alex Troniak uses her years of experience and expertise to lead the group in a meditation followed by the creation of vision boards. [$30

The Military Museum is hosting an exhibition in its atrium to honour black Canadian soldiers until Feb 29. The exhibition aims to showcase the valuable role and sacrifices made by Black Canadian soldiers from the First World War to the present day.

Hygge Hut on River Walk | Until March | East Village

The Hygge Hut is a contemporary, Scandinavian-style space inspired by the Danish idea of Hygge, which means a special kind of well-being. It’s a cozy, easy togetherness enhanced by the glow of a fire pit, soft lighting, a warm drink and good company.

The Calgary Zoo Penguin Walk | Until March 15 | Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo

Since their arrival in 2012, the penguins have become a visitor favourite and once again Calgarians are invited to walk with the king penguins daily at 10:30am, depending on weather.

WinSport Servus Tube Park | Until March 17 | WinSport (Canada Olympic Park)

Opening on Feb 2, this innovative sensory exploration takes viewers into a world that blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination with nine immersive art installations.
