🎵 Jelly Roll: Beautifully Broken Tour: The rapper/country singer is on his tour across North America and he is making a stop in Calgary. March 11 at Scotiabank Saddledome.

🎭️ The Wizard of Oz: Francesco Ventriglia's enchanting The Wizard of Oz invites audience on a spectacular voyage through a world of imagination, heart, and courage! March 13-15 at the Jubilee. 

🎤 TINA–The Tina Turner Musical: Broadway Across Canada’s next production brings the legend that is Tina back to life on stage in this celebration of triumph over adversity. March 18-23 at the Jubilee.

This two-day winter music fest is put on by Calgary Folk Music Festival so you know it’s going to be incredible music and good vibes. Whether you're a diehard folk music fanatic, a psych-rock buff, a neo-soul enthusiast or just looking to get down and have a good time, Block Heater has something for everyone.

The 2025 Academy Awards Oscar-nominated films have been announced and several Calgary International Film Festival selections from the 2024 festival have earned 41 nominations in total. In celebration, CIFF will be screening three Oscar-nominated shorts packages over two weekends.

Back for its fifth instalment, hundreds of the world’s top athletes hit the hill and compete in the stunt ditch.

Dave Kelly Live 30 | Thursday at 7:30pm | Mount Royal University | $46+

Dave Kelly Live returns for a one-night-only event celebrating the stories, talents, and humour that make Calgary shine. After five years, the show is back with an exciting lineup featuring Calgarian country artist Lindsay Ell and local poet Wakefield Brewster, alongside Russell Broom, Mandy Stobo, and a special tribute to Jim Button.

Alberta Ballet Dance Theatre of Harlem | Thursday to Saturday | Jubilee | Various prices

Enjoy a multi-ethnic ensemble that paves the way for an inclusive future in embracing the belief of its founder: “ballet belongs to everyone.” The internationally regarded dance sensation brings a mixed program that will showcase talent and versatility against a backdrop of eclectic score.

Wild After Hours: In the Heat of the Night | Thursday to Saturday | Calgary Zoo | $125

It’s back for the first time in 2025 with an amazing lineup of Canadian singer-songwriters from Alberta and BC who will serenade you while you enjoy drinks and snacks.

Composed in the aftermath of his disastrous marriage, the fiery Violin Concerto, performed by dynamic violinist Julian Rhee, embodies the renewal of the composer’s creative energies.

ImaginAsian: Asian Night Market | Friday to Sunday at various times | City Hall Atrium | Free

The ImaginAsian Night Market features the sights, sounds and taste of Calgary’s diverse Asian-Canadian communities. Visitors can enjoy live performances, art displays, calligraphy writing, and unique merchandise. Enjoy the lantern parade at 5:30pm Friday.

University District Winter Pop-Up Market | Sunday from 1-4pm | University District | Free

Free sledge hockey demonstration and complimentary hot chocolate provided by AdaptAbility Complimentary s’more kits (while supplies last) and a DJ performance

Calgary Flames vs. San Jose Sharks | Sunday at 6pm | Scotiabank Saddledome | Various prices

Catch some weekend NHL action as the Flames host the San Jose Sharks in a Sunday game that puts the Western rivals against each other.

The Debaters Live on Tour | Monday at 8pm | Grey Eagle Event Centre | $40

The Debaters Live on Tour is the comedy stage show where comics go toe-to-toe in a battle of laughs and logic and the audience picks the winner.

In 2024, there were more than 125 vendors and 200 participating locations with more than 70,000 hot chocolates enjoyed and this year will be even better! Get out there and enjoy the tasty hot chocolates our city has to offer.

A unique expedition to discover the wonder of Egypt. Explore the Giza Plateau and the Great Pyramid of Giza as if you were really there.

The Penguin Walk | Until March 9 | Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo

Up to 14 penguins can participate in the daily march, including ‘Diana’, ‘Grace’, ‘Solomon’, ‘Cleopatra’, ‘Louis’, ‘Phillipe’, ‘Henri’, ‘Napoleon’, ‘George’, ‘Boudicca’, ‘Rupert’, ‘Arthur’, ‘Alfred’, and the juvenile king penguin ‘Augustus’.

The Big Bang Parody: A Musical | Until March 22 | Jubilations Dinner Theatre | Various times
