😆 The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival: Back for the third year, this popular comedy festival is taking over the island again with headliners Russell Peters, Tom Segura, and Iliza Shlesinger headlining each night. Aug 23-25 at Prince's Island Park.

🍖 Brewery & the Beast: An all-inclusive feast of meat-focused dishes created by more than 50 of the city’s best restaurants with a top-notch roster of refreshing beverages to quench your thirst. Aug 25 at the Confluence Historic Site.

🎭️ Come From Away: This popular Broadway Across Canada show about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world is making its much-anticipated return to Calgary. Sept 17-22 at the Jubilee.

🧪 Beakerhead at Spark: This popular art and science installation event combines science, art, food, and fire this year so stay tuned and make sure you don’t miss out. Sept. 20-24 at the Telus Spark Science Centre.

🎸 Country Thunder Festival: Did you snap up your tickets for this three-day country festival yet? If not, there’s still time to catch headliners Hardy, Dallas Smith, and Luke Combs over the weekend. Aug 16-18 at Confluence Park (formerly Fort Calgary).

The popular Inglewood Night Market is back for another week with all of the things you love the most; handmade crafts, vintage clothing, antiques and collectibles, artisan eats, entertainment, and more. Free to attend!

Friday to Sunday | North Glenmore Park | Check times

More than 1,800 competitors and 4,000 spectators are descending upon the park for this annual event on the water. This is another free to attend event that offers fun for the whole family this weekend.

Sunday | 33 Ave SW | 10am-5pm

The community of Marda Loop will transform into the iconic one day street festival featuring a pet pageant and photo booth in a family-friendly environment with the goal of supporting and shopping local goods from a variety of artisans and businesses. Did we mention it’s also free to attend?

Friends: A parody with Ace Ventura | Wednesday-Saturday | Jubilations Dinner Theatre

There are just a few days left to catch this Friends meets Ace Ventura musical dinner theatre parody before the new production starts so get your last minute tickets!

With the goal of raising $50,000 for the Calgary Food Bank, Southcentre Mall is excited to unveil a creative art piece along with a 60-foot roller rink inside of their Centre Court where guests can skate in exchange for a donation until September 7. [Free]

Hot Summer Soap Making Workshop | Wednesday | 6:30pm
