📚️ Reset Calgary Book Sale: With over 100,000 books to peruse, the Calgary Book Sale raises up to $140,000 annually towards the organization’s EXIT Program. May 2-5 and May 10-12 at Crossroads Market.

🍺 Calgary International Beerfest: Celebrated annually, this event ranks as one of Canada's largest beer festivals, offering attendees an opportunity to sample hundreds of domestic and international beers. May 3/4. at the BMO Centre.

🎭️ OtaFest: Calgary’s Japanese pop culture festival. Shop. Cosplay. Games. Anime. Join a community and meet your favourite stars. May 10-12 at the Telus Convention Centre.

🍹 YYCaesarfest: The home of the caesar drink presents the most Canadian long weekend plan ever for a weekend of caesars, craft beer, cider, spirits, food, and a ton of fun. May 18 at Stampede Park Big Four building.

🎸 Nashville North lineup: The Calgary Stampede just announced its Nashville North lineup, including headliners The Washboard Union, Brothers Osborne, James Barker Band, and hometown favourite Lindsey Ell. July 5-14 at Calgary Stampede Nashville North tent.

This is a feast that won't bust your wallet, with eats like the juiciest Nashville chicken sandwich you'll find west of the Mississippi, luxurious lobster nachos and a monstrous four-scoop ice cream flight that comes loaded with sprinkles and waffle chips from April 24-28.

Enjoy out-of-this-world jazz performances and discover new favourites right here in the city during this popular music festival serenading audiences at various locations.

Sunday | 10am-3pm | Heritage Park

Zoom into the Nifty Fifty Spring Thaw Car Show happening in the parking lot of Heritage Park, where the public is invited to explore over 400 cars ranging from dazzling hot rods to classic rides for free.

Calling all train enthusiasts and historians, the CPKC Steam Tour kicks off in Calgary from the Ogden Dale Road location where attendees have an opportunity to get up close to The Empress 2816, a remarkable locomotive dating back to 1930, and dive into the rich history of Canada’s railway legacy. Celebrate 25 Seasons of The Shakespeare Company (TSC) at the Wild Rose Brewery Barracks Room with a one-hour special performance of 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare' while fundraising for the upcoming TSC season by bidding in the silent auction. [$71]

Latihan Blindfolded Dance | Thursday | 7-9pm

Embark on a journey of movement and self-discovery in this one-of-a-kind experience at Evergreen Community Spaces where attendees will participate in conscious dance, playfulness, and connection with the community. [$50]

Calgary Expo: Comics & Entertainment | Thursday - Sunday| Various times

PechaKucha Night Calgary invites citizens to participate in the psychological closure process of Calgary's iconic Eau Claire Market where attendees will see presentations and hear speakers share their views on the central theme of closure and the emotions it brings up. [$22]

Vivaldi's Four Seasons | Friday | 7:30pm

Performed alongside the FILMharmonic Orchestra, violinist Isabella d'Éloize Perron returns to Arts Commons with her fiery take on Astor Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires in an immersive experience, plunging audiences into the sensual universe of Argentine tango. [$77]

Taking place at The Grand, indie-folk singer-songwriter Martin Kerr captivates audiences with his trademark British wit and vocal prowess in an intimate show where Martin will feature unreleased music from his upcoming EP, along with fan favourites like “You’re Amazing”. [$38]
