Dinosaurs on tour, film and pet festivals, and arts and music
Happy Tuesday, friends. We are going to switch up the way we present future events next week while we tweak a couple more things but stay tuned for those little changes that will make it just a little easier to plan ahead. Thank you for the support and we hope you enjoy these mid-April events!

🍴 Feast on Fourth: This is a feast that won't bust your wallet, with eats like the juiciest Nashville Chicken Sandwich you'll find west of the Mississippi, luxurious lobster nachos and a monstrous 4-scoop ice cream flight that comes loaded with sprinkles and waffle chips from Apr. 24-28.
💥 Calgary Expo: Comics & Entertainment: Whether getting a single day pass or a four-day pass, make sure to visit this iconic event where fans can gather to enjoy the artistry and creativity of comics and other forms of media from Apr. 25-28.
🎷 Jazz YYC International Jazz Days: From April 25 to May 1, enjoy out-of-this-world jazz performances during this popular local festival serenading audiences later this month at various locations.
🍺 Calgary International Beerfest: Celebrated annually, this event ranks as one of Canada's largest beer festivals, offering attendees an opportunity to sample hundreds of domestic and international beers. May 3/4.
🍹 YYCaesarfest: The home of the caesar drink presents the most Canadian long weekend plan ever for a weekend of caesars, craft beer, cider, spirits, food, and a ton of fun. At the Big Four building on May 18.

One of our favourite film festivals of the year is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited with 11 days of edgy and thought-provoking film on the docket. Not only that, but there is a whole smorgasbord of fun to be had with their special events.

This world-famous tour filled with life-size dinosaurs will be in Calgary April this weekend. Meticulously painted and animated to be realer-than-real, you’ll enjoy these prehistoric dinos whether you’re 3 or 103.
Felted Gnomes Craft Night | Tuesday | 7-9pm
The Sparrow Artspace invites all experience levels to this workshop where attendees have an opportunity to work on their own piece or experience felting a gnome to take home with guidance from Jamie. [By Donation]
A Gathering to Support One Another | Wednesday | 11:30am-3pm
The G4 SNTTC invites all Calgarians to Olympic Plaza for a day of gathering in the spirit of community where attendees can enjoy a complimentary lunch, access to Indigenous cultural services and receive a backpack filled with essentials to lift each other up. [Free]
Congress After Dark: Rope Night | Wednesday | 7- 9pm
Congress Coffee Co. is hosting an adults only evening of creativity in support of Skipping Stone, where guests are welcome to enjoy live models doing rope art and suspension while figure drawing and sketching takes place. [$12]
Onsite Storage Locker Auction | Thursday | 10am

Open Skate Drop-in with The Roller Jungle Friday | 3pm | Contemporary Calgary
